Wii Fit at 144.8 lbs.
Bathroom scale at 143.6 lbs!
It's amazing how you can lose weight just from peeing. According to Wii Fit, I lost 2.4 pounds just by urinating.
LOST 11 POUNDS!
Measurements:
Bust: 37 inches
Waist: 39.5 inches
Hips: 41 inches
Okay, so there's a biiit of a problem with the final measurements. See, Dave did my initial measurements and I did the final ones. If you look at the starting numbers and compare them with these, you'll see that I've GAINED inches in stomach. I know this to be false because one of the main areas I've noticed a reduction is my stomach. When I look down, I see boobs. not boobs and a pot belly. I even it out, I'd say I lost about an inch in each measurement.
So, a little bit about this diet.
Yes, it was hard. The first few days and the last week were the hardest. But I did it. I can do it. If I can do this, I know I can do just about any diet. I lost eleven pounds in the three weeks I did this diet. Now, that may seem good, but I know that I probably could have done the same with diet an exercise. Do I recommend this diet? Well...here's the thing. If you are able to (health lending and all that--I am NOT a doctor here), it might be worth trying, if nothing else than to see what your body can do.
What have I learned?
Well, I am still overweight by 10 or 15 pounds. I would have liked to have lost a bit more weight; get down to 140 lbs. I know why I didn't. Because I didn't exercise until the last week of my diet. So, what did I learn? I learned that they're not kidding when they say exercise is crucial to weight loss. And unfortunately, that's unfortunate. In my opinion, dieting is easier than exercise. When you diet, you can choose not to eat something or simply not have it in the house. Whereas you can have an exercise video sitting right there every day and just ignore it. Or not use a machine or not go to the gym. It's easier to NOT do something, you know?
So, what now?
Well, I plan on still doing my exercise videos every day (rest day on Sunday...and yes, I worked out to Gilad today), and I want to eat better. Maybe not this week, as I still want sushi and pizza. I'm going to try to cook more at home and thereby cutting out fast food and restaurant dinners that can be fattening AND expensive. Try to lessen carbohydrate intake, but not cut it out entirely. Eat more fruits and veggies and less starches. I'm going to keep taking my vitamins, and when I can get my appetite for them back, have a protein shake every day.
Despite the title of this blog, I still want to blog about what I'm doing, or trying to do to stay healthy and keep the weight off. It might not be every day. I'm not going to weigh myself every day anymore. Maybe once or twice a week just to keep tabs (make sure I'm not getting pudgy again). Dave and I might get a membership at a fitness centre or something. We'll see. but, I have hope. Like I said earlier. If I can go carb-free for three weeks, I should be able to do anything.

Day 21

Well, today was my last day carb-free. Three weeks. I can't believe I did it. I'm very glad it's over.
I'll probably talk more about the journey and things I learned...but not today. Tomorrow perhaps. Right now I have a headache, I still have to make 30 little pies and blog. All while listening to Dave banging a bunch of hookers in GTA IV.
They should have named it GTA: Giving Little Boys Boners Because It's All About Tits Tits Tits.

*note* Ugh. I'm so glad to be done with these shakes. Dave and I went grocery shopping today. We bought things for tomorrow and for the party on Thursday. I wanted to make Chocolate pie for tomorrow, but god dammit they were out of pie shells on account of it being Thanksgiving. I = depressed. Like just about every other trip to the grocery store, we got into an argument. Dave is VERY dominant in the kitchen. VERY. Don't get my wrong, he's an excellent cook. But anyone who might be good as well; Ooooo, it's like a competition or something. Or like he believes that there can only be ONE person who is good in the kitchen. So when I come up and want to make something, he asks sly questions (Do you really need all those walnuts?), or says things like, "You know what you could do.../You know what I would do...You know what you should do next time..." and it gets frustrating. I bake, he cooks. That's why I'm not the one who burnt the white chocolate when I was making Christmas bark. When I actually know what I'm doing, he has to poke his head in. That was the argument.

*note* Dave and I made another trip to a different grocery store in hopes of getting pie shells. no luck. They were sold out there as well. BUT I DID find a package of thirty MINI pie shells. So instead of making one big pie, I'm going to make thirty small ones. How cool is THAT? So we had no plans for supper, so Dave and I bought a pre-rotissery chicken. 0g of carbs accoring to the label. I had one skinless chicken breast. Well, most of it was skinless. It sure was tasty though.

*note* Yeah, I know this meal was way early, but that's okay. I don't think I'll be hungry the rest of the night. If I am, I'll have some turkey bacon or a Baby Bel.
I suppose I SHOULD admit that I did cheat a bit this evening. After I made the chocolate part of the pie, I had Dave taste and check it (so I didn't have to). He said it was good but a little heavy on the vanilla extract. Well, you say that to me and I gotta know. So, I took the littlest taste to see for myself.
And I think he's full of crap.
Dave made his famous broccoli salad. Broccoli, cauliflower, bacon bits, a bit of red onion and his secret sauce (I think he should have added mushrooms to the salad, but I don't want to tell hime what to do). It's VERY yummy.
Tomorrow's Thanksgiving potluck is going to be so great!!

Day 20
OH MY GOD TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY!!!!

I think the reason I didn't lose any is because I had a shitload of cheese before bed. Like at least 3g worth.

*note* Yeah, bit of a late start, but I blame Dave. I tend to stay up later on the weekends because he's gone, and then since he doesn't get home until 4:00am, we sleep in late. Very late. Did the Slim in Six today. I didn't take a break, however, I had to adjust a few of the moves. I can't do that many front lunges because of my knees. I still can't do push ups, but I do what I can. Reverse crunches still hurt, but now more because my tailbone gets no cushioning on the yoga matt. Oh well.

I had some stuff I wanted to do today inlcude cleaning and walking to the store to get stamps, but I wasn't feeling very good (on account of not being able to shit), so I watched Heroes all day. Season 1. Man. I remember now. I remember when that show was good.

I had two tablets today (at different times) because I've been a bit sneezy and coughy. It couldn't hurt, certainly.
Dave's been sick all week and called in sick today. He needs the rest. He's been worn down so badly.
Did my workout this morning. The Slim in 6 one. I did a bit better at it today, but I still needed to take a break. I found out how to do the squats easier. And I've decided to go at my own pace. They'll do the move and then speed it up, but I can't do the full movement when they do it that quickly. So I say, fuck 'em.

I convinced Dave to get off the diet. He's been miserable, depressed, cranky, irritable, sick, irritable, worn down and irritable all week. And I want this understood: he is NOT cheating. He did NOT fail. He's not in good health and he needs to get back up. The only way to do that is to get proper nutrients into his system.
We're almost out of meat here, which means the next three and a half days are going to be even tougher. I will finally know how Dave feel when I'm forced to eat eggs and protein every day.
Until tomorrow...don't let your room mate catch you sneaking out of the kitchen naked with an Oreo in your mouth,

54 oz of water. Barely. I'm getting sick of water. I should drink way more. In fact, I may just fill my bottle and choke down some more. I mean christ. I haven't pooped in I don't know how many days. I know that's normal on a no carb diet, but still. All that dietary fiber in the meat? I should be pooping.

Dave's having a real hard time with this diet. He's not feeling good, which is not good. I've been lucky, where I haven't yet gotten sick (knock on wood), but Dave's been fighting a bug for over a week now. If he breaks it...I'll be glad. Because then he'll get proper nutrients in his system. it's not cheating and it's not quitting. It's being concerned with one's health. And Monday won't come quick enough.

54 oz of water. Barely. I'm getting sick of water. I should drink way more. In fact, I may just fill my bottle and choke down some more. I mean christ. I haven't pooped in I don't know how many days. I know that's normal on a no carb diet, but still. All that dietary fiber in the meat? I should be pooping.

Plus, I like the way Gilad says "Buttocks." I like that he SAYS "Buttocks."

Dave's having a real hard time with this diet. He's not feeling good, which is not good. I've been lucky, where I haven't yet gotten sick (knock on wood), but Dave's been fighting a bug for over a week now. If he breaks it...I'll be glad. Because then he'll get proper nutrients in his system. it's not cheating and it's not quitting. It's being concerned with one's health. And Monday won't come quick enough.

Day 16
Weight (Wii Fit): JUST under 149 lbs.
Weight (bathroom scale pre-pee): 146.2 lbs
Weight (bathroom scale post-pee): 145 lbs.
So...not only did I lose over a pound of weight due to urination, but for once, Wii Fit and the bathroom scale agreed: I lost only 0.2 lbs since yesterday.
AH well, fuck the both of them. I'm almost done anyway.
I'm quickly trying to choke down my 54 oz of water. Only to say I did it.

Women's One-a-Day multivitamin and 500mg Sunksit Vitamin C tablet.
You know, I really thought I'd get sick during this diet (because I'm not eating anything with fucking nutrients my body needs), but I've been fine (knock on wood...[Done]). Knowing my luck though, as soon as I put fruit in my mouth, I'll come down with the swine flu or something. Which actually wouldn't bother me; it would be a prolonging of my diet. A cold would suck though.
Woke up (later than I wanted) and did the Slim in Six video workout that Dave downloaded for me. It's...hard. There are no breaks. You know like walking in place? It's just go go go. And then go some more. I had to pause it to take a break. And because of my knees, I can't do the squats like they do, nor the "push ups." They do girl push-ups, but the way she started the move out was really awkward and I couldn't do it. Plus the yoga matt is kinda thin and our floors are SUPPER hard. Also, I can't do the reverse crunches because of my back.
You know what else? The woman leading the video has NO rhythm. You're supposed to keep in time with the music, but she just goes on her merry way, or speeds it up. I just had to stop looking at the screen and go with my ears. And the speed ups? Can't keep up! I don't know how they do the complete move in that short of time.
I'm going to Gilad tomorrow. At least he understands me.

Dave wanted me to pick up chicken broth and mushrooms. When I got back, I cleaned off the outside chairs and brought them in. Oh yeah, also had to swiffer the guest bathroom because the FAN WAS LEAKING. Something overflowed in the bathroom in the vacant apartment above us last night, so we had to call in the plumber dude. Didn't get to bed until midnight. But that's neither here nor there.

Dave and I went with a friend to see Zombieland. At first I thought, "Oh great. Another trip to the desert." But I was totally cool with it. Had a medium diet Pepsi. And by medium I mean Movie theatre concessions medium, so fucking huge. I did okay with no popcorn. Although, I saw a poster cut out for "Chance of Meatballs" cartoon movie, and they had animated doughnuts...chocolate, with sprinkles. it was like Homer Simpson pocessed my body (after the movie our friend went to Tim Hortons. Luckily, I had to pee really bad, and that kind of blocked my inate desire for doughnuts).
If you haven'ty seen Zombieland, get off your ass.
I think I may have a crush on Woody Harrelson. I can't believe that motherfucker was on fucking CHEERS, dude.
And can someone tell me why they keep advertsing for 2012? John Cusak is just a shit poor substitute for Nic Cage. Yeah. Think about it.

So, I walked to the store today to get my dad a birthday card, so I got a little exercise doing that. Then, I went to do an exercise video that Dave had downloaded for me, only I couldn't find it (turns out I needed to reset Glitch. Oops!). So I put in the Gilad (YES GILAD!!) DVD that my mom sent out with me. It's for beginners, and I really liked it. It's a warm-up, three sets of cardio, two sets of sculpting and cool down. Unfortunately, I was pretty winded after the cardio plus I kinda ran out of time. I'm hoping to get up at a "decent" hour tomorrow and do it then. But yeah. Good on me. I had a headache afterword, so I must have to drink a bit more water.

Our winter heating bills were so mind boggling last year...we just won't be able to afford it (Rumour has it we're supposed to have snow by Wednesday. Course the weathermen here are fucking idiots. Started with my usual vitamins; Women's One-A-Day and Sunkist Vitamin C 500mg.
I got up at 9:30 am after having not slept very well on account of knowing I had to get up. I was helping my friend take her cats to the vet and I need to be ready by 10:30am.
Maybe that accounts for the weight fluctuation. Or maybe I'm just fat.

*note* I didn't want to wake Dave up, so instead of using the blender, I used a shaker. Well, it sure as hell didn't blend things together very well; it had soem chunks in it. Wasn't smooth at all. Almost threw it up. On the plus side, the Chia Pro is gone and I'm on to the fewer grams of carbs and WAY less cholesterol in the vanilla stuff.

*note* I took this shake on the go because I knew I'd be out an about today. A friend was having an Epicure open house (same lady who had the games night with the pistachio cake? Yeah), and it started at 1:00pm. NOW, once again, she put out an amazing spread. The majority of which I can't eat. I ate what I could though! From about 1:30pm to 4:00pm I snacked on:
Raw broccoli
Raw mushrooms
Raw celery
Dill dip (the herbs were 2g, but I don't know how much she used, and I don't know how much was in the cream cheese and sour cream. Still, it had the least amount. And I only had about a tablespoon, tablesoon and a half.)
Cheese dip (this shit is to DIE for. Maybe had two teaspoons of that.)
Teryaki chicken ( I was told it was just terryaki and chicken. Turns out it's the mix AND brown sugar. Luckily, I only had three SMALL pieces of that. But the brown sugar...man, wish I would have known.)
Antipasto consisting of salami, provolone cheese and tomato (I took of the tomato.)
Man, it was so hard NOT to cheat. You know what I compare it to? Remember Jesus in the desert, and Satan's tempting him? Well, that table full of Epicure stuff was my desert, and that cheese dip was Satan. I think I did okay, considering. I wasn't happy that I snacked though. I should have just had some and then cut myself off.

He asked what was in it and apparently just beef, onions, garlic, and egg. Probably other seasonings too. Still...you never know. Dave put bacon and cheese on it (mmm cheesy bacon is the BEST). I had two slices of that. I should have only had one, but it was damn good. And there were green beans in garlic butter. YUM. The butter by the way is Becel, and it's 0g.
We then went BACK to the friend's house for some more games night-ness. Unfortunately, Dave had to work, but I think it was for the best because he ws kinda tired and a little crabby. Anyway, not long into the night they all decided to get pizza. MAN. This desert NEVER FUCKING ENDS!! But they pulled out some of the veggies from before and I had a little bit of that. But I didn't have much and I didn't bring a meal with me because I figured I had been snacking all afternoon, so I shouldn't get a meal. That snacking was at least a meal in itself.
So I resisted pizza. HaHA!
Unfortunately, by the time I got home, at FUCKING MIDNIGHT, I was starving. Also, that's why I didn't create this entry then.

Holy shit...almost two weeks. How depressing.
Today I walked! Yay! I walked to the bank to do some banking (go figure), then to the Macs station to mail out some things. You know what's almost worse than rude people in this town? People who are still rude while calling you Miss/Mame. Fucking jerk.
Anyway, then I walked back. Felt guilty about not getting my dad and step-mom an anniversary card. I really should call them. Oh shit and my dad's birthday is on the fifteenth. Same day as my Partylite Party. I must remember to call him...early.
Took my usual cocktail of Women's One-A-Day multivitamin and Sunkist 500mg Vitamin C tablet.
Also drank 54 oz of water so far. I might drink more. I must be sick or something.

Today I walked! Yay! I walked to the bank to do some banking (go figure), then to the Macs station to mail out some things. You know what's almost worse than rude people in this town? People who are still rude while calling you Miss/Mame. Fucking jerk.
Anyway, then I walked back. Felt guilty about not getting my dad and step-mom an anniversary card. I really should call them. Oh shit and my dad's birthday is on the fifteenth. Same day as my Partylite Party. I must remember to call him...early.
Took my usual cocktail of Women's One-A-Day multivitamin and Sunkist 500mg Vitamin C tablet.
Also drank 54 oz of water so far. I might drink more. I must be sick or something.

Day 10, Part II
So Dave and I decided to extend my birthday through today.
I know. Another cheat day, and we feel extremely guilty about it. See the thing is, though, we got that cake from the other night, but we didn't eat it last night. So what were we supposed to do?
So, we went to Subway for dinner. I got a 6-inch turkey and ham double meat on wheat. I got lettuce, black olives, a little red onion and a bit of sweet onion sauce. And you know how you're eating a sub and you get to a bit that's just bread? Well, when that happened, or when it was bread and a little lettuce say, I'd just rip the bread off. By the end of my meal, I tore up and threw out about a fourth of my bread.
So there.
Then I had a slice of pistachio cake with a cup of milk. (50+g altogether?)
Am I going to hell for this?

Hello! Sorry for not posting yesterday. Actually, no I'm lying. I'm not sorry. Yesterday was my birthday and I cheated. I tried to be smart about it at first, but then I said fuck it.
Started the day with my usual vitamins...I think. Honestly, I cannot remember if I actually took my multi-vitamin. Still, that doesn't mean I didn't take it.
I woke up having to go to the bathroom. Yay for diarrhea! Man. I was in pain. Haven't had a case like that in a while. Then my back hurt really bad in shower. Afterwords, I was in the bedroom getting ready and...ugh, back to the bathroom. Happy birthday to me.
So needless to say I wasn't very hungry. So I just had my protein shake of usual ingredients at 12:30pm. I'm almost out of the strawberry powder, so I just mixed it in with the left over chocolate stuff. Almost out of the Chia Pro stuff, thank god. But, you know all those carbs from it are fiber carbs, which is kinda good. Better than the sugar carbs.
At 3:50pm I had a chocolate Atkins Advantage shake of 4g. I missed my meal by a little bit because I was playing Batman: AA. FInally beat it. I didn't want to, but it kind of made me.
So Dave comes home and he's got a big wrapped box and two smaller boxes...oh wait I have to back up! I got a delivery from Chocolates and Candlelights (from Dave of course, even though he put questions on it). It was a Holloween basket full of goodies like chocolates and a Wine glass and a cheese knife. And he told them to put question marks in there, which was nice (another Batman :AA reference)
So yes, Dave bought me a douvet, a douvet cover, and new sheets. SOOO nice!!!
Then he says, "Okay, we have reservations at 6:30 at Pestos." WHOHOO!! ALWAYS wanted to go there AND we're breaking the diet. So we both get prettied up and go. I had a glass of White Zin, which was yummy. I had Chicken Supreme with marsala, scalloped potaoes, asparagus and carrots and brie and fillo. The marsala was AMAZING, but everything else was pretty bland. You had to put the sauce on everything. I really like the presentation though. And I though I did pretty good. I had as much chicken as I could, ate all the asparagus (except the stalks, which I can't believe they left on), at all of the brie and fillo, which might have been the worse. But I left some of the carrots and hardly had any of the potatoes (because they were really tasteless).
So...I gorged, but I still attempt to be smart.
But then we went to Dairy Queen and I got some brownie thing with soft serve and marshmellow and chocolate sauce, so all hell broke loose.
Then we cuddled and watched Finding Nemo.
And that was my day!! It was awesome!!!

Had a bit of a break-down today. I'm not seeing the results I want and it's REALLY disheartening and discouraging. It's been a week today since I started this diet and the best I could do is four pounds? I'm not looking to be skinny or pretty. I'd settle to get back to 140 lbs. That's a normal sized me.
Emotionally, everything hurt today.
And with that in mind, on with the boring news:

Anyway, I started my pedometer at about 1:10pm yesterday, and after all the days of it falling off and crashing on the floor, it finally broke. So no more step counts.
I weighed in at 153 lbs (Wii Fit)/ 149.4 (bathroom scale) yesterday. I would really like to know what kinda of things those scales talk about when I'm asleep at night.
Chugged down 54 oz of water yesterday, plus two glasses at the party and a bottle of the stuff.

URRR. Talk about torture AND rude! "Oh, thanks for making this birthday cake. Oh, by the way, fuck you, I can't eat it." That's no way to treat a host. I should have kidnapped a piece and saved it for Tuesday.
Speaking of Tuesday...I just don't know what to do. I'm making my cut off date Thanksgiving (CA), so there's my cheat day. If I make my cheat day my birthday, think of what that says. it says that after only a week, I had a cheat day. Well, that's kind of retarded. Not to mention, what happens if I get on the scale Wednesday morning and I'm exactly what I was when I started? Where's the insentive to continue?

I had maybe five slices of cheese, and once again, used my best judgment. I had two glasses of Diet Pepsi and a can of Diet Coke Lime. I felt bad about all the soda I consumed. It's just SO tasty. If it wasn't bad enough that our hostess put out all this wonderful food that I couldn't eat, but she had a birthday cake for a friend and myself's birthday. And it was pistacchio and everything. URRR. Talk about torture AND rude! "Oh, thanks for making this birthday cake. Oh, by the way, fuck you, I can't eat it." That's no way to treat a host. I should have kidnapped a piece and saved it for Tuesday.
Speaking of Tuesday...I just don't know what to do. I'm making my cut off date Thanksgiving (CA), so there's my cheat day. If I make my cheat day my birthday, think of what that says. it says that after only a week, I had a cheat day. Well, that's kind of retarded. Not to mention, what happens if I get on the scale Wednesday morning and I'm exactly what I was when I started? Where's the insentive to continue?
But it's my birthday! I haven't had a decent birthday since I turned 22. Do I deserve this? Probably. Did I earn it though? That's the kicker.

I'm still REALLY weak in the morning. Like, showering is a work out in itself. Every morning I feel like I'm recovering from the flu. My legs shake and I literally get out of breath.

I stopped up to visit Dave and had my shake there. He is still very tired and sore, but he was in better spirits when he got home, so that's good. Anyway, Instead of using the elevator to visit Dave, I used the stairs. Dave works on the sixth floor, and I made it about three and a half before I needed a break. How sad. It was my intention to also walk to the library, but I knew there was NO way I would be able to do all that. But I'm okay with it; another day. Besides, I'm happy with my step count.
Meal related info, I'm not happy with the chocolate shake being twice as many carbs as the vanilla. Still...tastes a shit-load better than the other shakes.

Day 4, Part 2

Day 4
Well...today was kind of a cheat day. Sort of.
I have to back track for second, and I know this is obnoxious, but if I'm really going to track my meal intact, then I HAVE TO DO IT!
So yeah. I had a Baby Bel last night at 10:00pm. I woke up in the middle of the night with cheese breath. It made me hungry. Thank god that deep down I was too tired to give a shit, and immediately fell back to sleep.
So today...got up early! Like, REALLY early. Like up-with-Dave-early. The alarm went off and some Gavin Rossdale song was playing or something, and I really seemed to be into it, and by the time the song was over, I realized that I wasn't sleepy.
Weight (Wii Fit): 153lbs
Weight (bathroom scale): 149.8lbs.

Well, I weighed myself about two hours earlier than I normally do, so that MIGHT account for the weight gain. And then the bathroom scale said, "No, actually, you're not that fat."
So...I guess I'll put both measurements up there from now on.
As usual, took my multi-vitamin and Vitamin C tablet.
Started pedometer at 8:30pm. 4177 steps today. DISMAL failure. I need to go to Walmart tomorrow, so maybe I'll walk downtown for a bit.

I cheated time, and seeing how I don't know exact portions of contents, I can't be sure of how many carbs was in what I ate!! I'm guessing I had about two cups of spinach. When I ordered I asked for no tomoatoes, and eggs, bacon, and mushrooms are all good things on this diet, so I gave myself two grams of carbs. If anyone disputes that, let me know and I'll change it. As for the dressing, it came with a differnt dressing, but this one was labeled low-fat or something, so I asked to switch. I know low-fat usually means high-carb, but I saw a raspberry vinaigrette at the store, and it boasted three grams of carbs, so that's where Iook those numbers from. Once again, if anyone thinks I cheated on those numbers, please let me know.

*note* Dave made marangue cookies this afternoon. They turned out pretty good, I think. They consisted of 2 cups, I think, egg whites (0g), 1/2 tsp creme of tartar, 1 cup Splenda and a splash of vanilla. The splenda ended up to be about 13 grams of carbs, but there were two dozen cookies so there you go!
Anyway, I'm pretty disappointed by how today went. Hardly any exercise, and my carb count is WAY high. True, I had to make some of the numbers up myself, but even so...I need to eat MORE meat, LESS spinach. It's just hard to look at a small plate of meat and say, "that
s your meal." At least with breakfast I can have eggs AND bacon. There's a complimentary item. But just meat by itself...it's so...lonely.
Lonely is actually a great word to describe this. It's very lonely. Can't take part in any eating or drinking fun, it makes other people uncomfortable because they think they can't eat certain things in front of you. I spend my entire day alone, living for the next meal. That's it . That's really no way to live. That's why this diet has to work. It has to show some results. When that's all you're living for, then failure would be so much more than disappointment.
Chugged down 54 oz of water today. And yesterday as well.

Day 3, Part 2
Today was a lazy day. I didn't have very much energy. Which is a good sign, because that means my body is having to find its energy in my stored fat.
My meals for today:
1 Women's One-A-Day Multivitamin
1 500mg Sunkist Vitamin C tablet

3/4 cup egg beaters - 0g
2 strips turkey bacon - 1g
2 pinches dried chives - 0g
3 sprinklings pepper - 0g

*note* I took Dave's advice on the amount of eggs and was surprised how much more egg I got. For the record I would like to reiterate how much I love turkey bacon. Also, for anyone who is nit-picky about some of my terminology (I would be!), a pinch is simply that: how much your thumb, for, and middle finger can grab, a sprinkling of pepper is actually just how many times I grind the pepper grinder, and a dash is me just trying to use my best judgment. Now, when I say a "scoop" of Chia Pro, it's actually a pinch. But a "scoop" of Protein Powder is actually a scoop...it comes with the powder. Confused? Yes? AWESOME!

I forgot to put my pedometer on this morning and didn't remember until about 12:30pm. I got 7324 steps today even though I didn't walk to the store. Instead, mny friend drove me. And herself. See, she's pregnant and she shouldn't be lifting the heavy bags, so that where I came in. I advised her to buy Pirate cookies. She said she wanted a peanut butter cookie, and I recommended them. Truth be told, I think I just wanted to eat them vicariously through her (was that redundant?).
So I think I told you that I wanted to clean the floors today. I figured that would replace my walking. That mophead that I bought yesterday? Doesn't fit. So I got on my hands and knees and cleaned the kitchen floor with a brush. No one could acuse me of not exercising. And I should add that I was wearing the pedometer while I was scrubbing the floor, so I suppose I should admit that as it's kind of cheating.
Dave and I went grocery shopping this evening. It's amazing how...NOT full the cart was. All we bought was steak, chicken breasts, ham, baby bels, more egg beaters, pickeled eggs (Dave's), some meat thingies in a box, a scale, and two jugs of water. Crazy, huh?
Until tomorrow, beware the golden egg that the goose laid...it's probably just gold foil covering the milk chocolate underneath,

Day 2, Part 2
Okay, so earlier today I recounted everything I did yesterday...okay except I forgot that I had a diet soda, 0g.
Anyway, today was a LOT easier. I just haven't been hungry today, which could mean a couple things. My body could be used to all this rigmarole, and/or it could be because I got my period today and am crampy.
Here's my meal breakdown:
Took my two vitamins, Women's One-A-Day multivitamin and 500mg Sunkist Vitamin C
So far today I have chugged down 60 oz of water. My water count, by the way does NOT include the water I use for my protein shakes.

*note* Have discovered that after blending, if you let it sit a bit, some wonderful foam starts to form at the top, which is delicious. And by delicious I mean, still tastes like artificially strawberry flavoured dicks, that still tastes better than the drink itself*

*note* Technically I should have ate at 7:00pm, but I didn't even notice the time go by (tempus fugit when you're having fun...playing Batman: Arkham Asylum)! Once again, not hungry, so I'm having a protein shake to finish off the day. If I'm still up by 11:00pm, maybe I'll have some Jell-O.
Took my pedometer off for the night. Now, two things. One, it fell in the toilet...while I was on it. Don't know HOW it happened, but it did. Still worked though. Second, the thing reset while on the phone with my mom (Happy Birthday, BTW), so I do have a number, but it isn't accurate. 7680.
Took a walk to the store and FINALLY got a new mop head. On the way back I noticed someone had some stuff on the curb labeled FREE, so I got some puzzles.
Other than that...not a lot.
Think I'll clean the floor tomorrow. That will be excersise.

Anyway, today was a LOT easier. I just haven't been hungry today, which could mean a couple things. My body could be used to all this rigmarole, and/or it could be because I got my period today and am crampy.
Here's my meal breakdown:
Took my two vitamins, Women's One-A-Day multivitamin and 500mg Sunkist Vitamin C
So far today I have chugged down 60 oz of water. My water count, by the way does NOT include the water I use for my protein shakes.
10:10am
1 scoop strawberry protein powder - 3g
1 sprinkling of Chia Pro - 0g
1 cup or so of water - 0g
*note* Have discovered that after blending, if you let it sit a bit, some wonderful foam starts to form at the top, which is delicious. And by delicious I mean, still tastes like artificially strawberry flavoured dicks, that still tastes better than the drink itself*
1:00pm
2 cups baby spinach - 2g
1 chicken breast - 0g
1/2 tbsp maple balsamic dressing - 2g
*note* Wasn't hungry at ALL by the time lunch came around, so I asked Dave and he said this was perfectly acceptable as a meal.
4:00pm
1/2 cup of Egg Beaters - 0g
2 slices of turkey bacon - 1g
Pinch of dried chives - 0g
2 sprinklings of pepper - 0g
Dash of salt -?g
1 can of diet soda - 0g
*note* Dave recommend I try 3/4 cup of eggs, but once again, I just wasn't that hungry. I don't know if there ARE any carbs in salt (I don't think so), hence the question mark. But the salt REALLY helped.
8:00pm
